Think about Mission, Community & Context

Connecting with the wider community at Remembrance

War Remembrance touches the lives of all sorts of people in deep and special ways. People, who might otherwise be very wary of the sorts of things churches do, engage in solemn, ritual behaviour with a genuine religiosity. Even for young people whose personal experience of war is minimal, it puts serious issues of life and death right up there as something to be considered both rationally and emotionally. How do we connect with all of this? How can we help people, get alongside people, learn from people, engage with people as they seek to engage with these issues?
