Although the Synod engages the services of both paid and volunteer staff some of whom are shown here and here Synod is more fully understood as being those representatives from local churches and beyond that meet together twice a year to discern God’s will for the United Reformed Church in the North West.

As such probably the best picture we can give you of Synod is literally that – a picture…in the above case Synod members in cluster discussion groups while meeting at Trinity Methodist/United Reformed Church, Cheadle in March 2010.
