From all of us at Greater Manchester Street Pastors Together we would like to welcome you to 2012 with all its challenges and opportunities. Hope that you had a peaceful Christmas and you have had a chance to recharge your batteries!   If you regularly hear from us or if this is your first time we hope you enjoy this January’s news sheet.  Please feel free to send this to others in your church or print it off for your church notice board.  All the news is from a community team in Harpurhey but these stories could be from any of the other teams around the city.

This year we see Tony Winter (Manchester Inner South Coordinator) completing his time with us.  Tony started with Street Pastors in 2004 and has taken the lead in developing this ministry across the city.  This January starts the application process of employing a new part time coordinator.  Please find attached job advert and description.  At first glance the role of a Coordinator can seem an overwhelming task.  The successful applicant will get support, not only from their Management Group but also help and support from a wider network of local Street Pastor teams within Greater Manchester.  Closing date for application Friday 20th January 2012.  If you would like any further information, please contact Charles on 0757 557 9377 or email manchester@streetpastors.org.uk
