Mission Statement. “We are a family of people who base our lives on Christ and his teachings. We are growing into a united, caring community, and witness our faith by working with the wider community for the benefit of others and the glory of God.”

Worship Meetings. Sunday Services are held at 10.30 a.m. Young Worshippers meet in the halls after the first part of the service. A short informal service for young families and prepared by young families is held on the second Sunday of each month at 9.30am.

Church Organisations. Partners, Out and Abouters, Family Choir, Ladies Group, Badminton Club, Indoor Bowls Club, , Book Club, Joint YO2 Youth Group with Wilmslow Methodist Church, Uniformed Organisations (Beavers, Rainbows, Cubs, Brownies, Guides). Other organisations, such as the Red Cross, Alcoholics Anonymous, Women’s Institute, use the church buildings. Links. The church is a member of “Churches Together in Wilmslow” and works closely with a group of “Partner” Churches in Wythenshawe, East Manchester, and Penrhys in Wales. Other links are with churches in Germany, Switzerland, Canada and Northern Ireland.

Minister. Rev. David Jenkins, B.A., B.D., S.T.M.
David Jenkins was inducted in September 1999. After serving city centre churches in Leeds and Manchester, he became, in 1984, Director of Training for the North Western Province of the URC. He was appointed Moderator of the Northern Province in 1987 and elected Moderator of the General Assembly of the URC for the year 1997–98.

Church Management. Major decisions are the responsibility of the Church Meeting at which all members may vote. There are fifteen elders, some of whom lead teams responsible for Worship, Pastoral Care, Youth Work, Christian Education, Outreach, Fellowship, Finance, Property, and Administration. There are 287 members. Also, 154 children and young people are associated with the church. The Church Office. (01625 532600) is open between 10 and 12 every weekday morning.
