The church has 79 members, 13 regularly worshipping adherents and COLTS – Celebrating Our Lord Together on Sunday – an active group of 17 or so young people.
Grosvenor St Aidan’s is set in a very mixed area where there has been considerable social change in recent years. As a congregation we are younger than we often suppose ourselves to be, all the COLTS club come from church connected families.
During 2000 we called both a new minister and a new organist and at Christmas our Carol Service was led by a group of musicians and instrumentalists who spanned many decades and worked together to uplifting effect.
We are currently preparing ourselves to embark on a more mission orientated approach to church life and are actively reorganising the administration of church life to help achieve this.
Please pray
That our recently established Bible Study will contribute to our work and mission as exploration of the Good News deepens.
That our Prayer Group will continue its faithful ministry within our life.
For our minister and elders in their leadership and stewardship.
That our deepening relationships with each other in exploring God’s will for us as a whole fellowship gathering together in Church Meeting will continue to grow.
That when God speaks through new people amongst us we will hear His voice whatever age or status they may be.

for the sense of anticipation and enthusiasm that is coming to us through the Holy Spirit.

Living God we give you thanks for all you are doing in our life together and in our lives as individuals. Be with us as we explore the way you are calling us in this new stage of our life as a fellowship. By the power of your Spirit we ask for the wisdom to hear your soft voice, the insight to see the vision you place in front of us and the courage to travel light as your witnessing people. Glorifying the name of Jesus Christ Our Lord in all that we do and think and are. AMEN
