The United Reformed Church in Leyland

The first building, the Ebenezer Chapel, was erected in 1844 in Towngate and the Leyland Congregational Church was formed in 1846.

The current church building in Hough Lane dates from 1877.

Revd Georgina Brotherton was inducted as Minister in September 2001.

Sunday Worship
Family Worship starts at 10:30am every Sunday morning. On most Sundays the children leave part way through the service for their own activities in Junior Church.

On the fourth Sunday of most months there is a parade of Uniformed Organisations, when the service is an act of all-age worship.

Holy Communion is shared by all those who love our Lord, Jesus Christ, on the first Sunday of each month and on Easter Sunday.
