This church is part of the United Reformed Church, which unites the traditions of Congregationalists, Presbyterians and the Churches of Christ. We are also part of the Churches Together here in Grange-over-Sands.
The church has facilities for the disabled and a public-address & loop system both in the church and hall. Large print hymn books are available at services.
We are a very friendly congregation which cordially invites you, and all visitors, to join us!
The Churches in Grange and District have an excellent ecumenical relationship and a number of events are undertaken jointly such as:- Christian Aid service; One World Week Service; Advent Carol Service; Good Friday Walk of Witness through the town. In addition there are Lenten studies, occasional lectures and community concerns with regard to the young people and the elderly. All these events are very well supported.
Our weekly events are as follows:-
| Sunday | The Service is at 10.30am, with a Junior Church for children at the same time. Communion is on the First Sunday morning of each month. |
| Tuesday | A "Friendship Lunch", with a cooked meal, on the first Tuesday of each month at 12.30pm. |
| Wednesday | Women’s Guild at 2.30pm (usually with a guest speaker). Midweek evening music concerts in the summer at 8.15pm. |
| Thursday | Midweek service at 10.30am., followed by a cup of tea and biscuits. Slide Shows in the summer at 8.15pm. |
| Friday | Choir Practice at 6.00pm. - New members are always welcome. |
We also have a Brownie group and All Sorts!, a children’s group organised by the New Life Church. Contact us for more information on these.
